Services Overview

Katie Mac Styling provides personal styling and image consulting services, including wardrobe audits, closet edits, personal shopping, and ongoing styling support. All services are customized based on individual client needs and are subject to availability.

Booking and Consultations

Initial Consultation

All new clients begin with a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation. This consultation is an opportunity to discuss your goals and determine the appropriate service path. It does not guarantee availability or obligation to book further services.

Scheduling

Once a service is booked, appointment dates and times will be mutually agreed upon. We will make every effort to accommodate your schedule, but availability may vary based on location and demand.

Payment Terms

Deposits

A $200 deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. This deposit will be applied toward your total service investment.

Payment

The remaining balance is due prior to your scheduled appointment unless otherwise agreed upon. We accept payment via Square, Stripe, check, or cash.

Pricing

Service pricing varies by location (New York City and Louisville, Kentucky) and scope of work. Final pricing will be confirmed during or after your initial consultation.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

Cancellation Policy

We kindly request a minimum of 72 hours notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. This allows us to offer the appointment time to other clients.

Late Cancellations and No-Shows

Cancellations made with less than 72 hours notice, or failure to appear for a scheduled appointment, will result in forfeiture of your deposit.

Refunds

All deposits and payments are final and non-refundable.

Client Responsibilities

Preparation

Clients are expected to complete any required intake forms or questionnaires prior to their scheduled appointment. This preparation ensures we make the most of our time together.

Communication

Please communicate any scheduling conflicts, concerns, or changes to your goals as early as possible. Open communication helps us deliver the best possible experience.

Access

For in-person services, clients are responsible for providing access to their wardrobe and any relevant spaces. A clean, accessible closet allows for a more efficient and productive session.

Travel Fees

Travel fees may apply for services outside of standard service areas. Any applicable travel fees will be discussed and agreed upon prior to booking.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Katie Mac Styling website—including text, images, graphics, and logos—is the property of Katie Mac Styling and is protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without prior written permission.

Confidentiality

We understand that personal styling is a private and sometimes sensitive process. All client information, wardrobe details, and personal discussions are kept strictly confidential unless you have given explicit permission to share.

Limitation of Liability

Katie Mac Styling provides styling recommendations and guidance based on professional expertise. However, final purchasing and wardrobe decisions are made at the client's discretion. We are not responsible for any dissatisfaction with third-party purchases, retailer policies, or items bought based on our recommendations.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Katie Mac Styling shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Katie Mac Styling, its owner, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these Terms of Service.
